The fifth edition of the comedy festival NCPA Cheer is back in Mumbai and this time around, there will be a host of ‘cheerful’ performances you can choose from. The line-up for the three-day fest, which starts today, includes four new stand-up acts, two premiering plays and even a live podcast. A curation of all things funny, you can witness some of the finest stand-up comics in the country at this festival.
The opening act will be a performance by comedian Karthik Kumar, followed by 'Timepass Talkies', which will take digs at iconic Bollywood movies.
Day 2 will have the live podcast Audiomatic — 'Our Last Week' presented by comic Anuvab Pal and actor Kunaal Roy Kapur. Next in line is ICM Popcorn, an improv play carved out from suggestions given by audience members. Sorabh Pant will also share his experiences of parenthood in the stand-up act 'My Baby Thinks I’m Funny'. The last day will showcase the comedy-thriller drama 'Shot In The Dark' and the stand-up act 'A Comedian’s Tale' by Papa CJ.
