6 injured in triple collision near Navsari

Surat: At least six people were injured in a pile-up involving a tempo, SUV and a motorcycle, some 15 km off Navsari town on Monday evening. The injured were rushed to different hospitals in Navsari.
According to officials of Navsari rural police, incident occurred near Lotus Point on the way to Satem from Khadsupa. A tempo full of mangoes on way to Satem tried to overtake a motorcycle rider and collided head-on with an SUV coming from the opposite direction.
Four people sitting in the car, bike rider and tempo driver were injured in the accident and were rushed to Parsi General Hospital and New Civil hospital of Navsari.
The traffic got jammed following the accident for couple of hours.
