KARACHI: The Bilawal House has condemned some federal ministers for targeting the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) chairman and trying to prove themselves as a replacement at a time when their leader, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, is awaiting an open-heart surgery in the United Kingdom. The Bilawal House spokesman said in a statement that people, including Sharif’s political opponents such as PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, were praying for his health. He said that federal ministers Pervaiz Rashid, Khawaja Saad Rafiq and Abid Sher Ali targeted Zardari in their speeches and tried to prove that they were the people who taught birds how to fly. He said that Rashid spent a large part of his life admiring and even flattering the Bhutto family, but now with the change of his masters he had started playing other part of the cassette in the hope that he might be considered for prime minister’s office. According to the spokesman, Zardari always avoided personal criticism of the opponents, but some ministers were trying to provoke him at a time when Sharif was under treatment.
