Gawande flaunts FB pics with Bhagwat
PUNE: Hemant Gawande, the man who has put state revenue minister Eknath Khadse on a sticky wicket, is neither a Congressman nor a NCP worker.
On his Facebook page, Gawande proudly shares his pictures with RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, VHP leader Pravin Togadia and railway minister Suresh Prabhu. He has also shared a song on the second RSS chief Madhav Sadashiv Golwalkar with his followers.

The buzz in BJP circles is that the ammunition against Khadse has been provided to Gawande by the minister's political foes.
When asked about when had he met Bhagwat and Togadia, Gawande said, "I attended the World Hindu Congress session in New Delhi in 2014. I met these leaders there," he said, adding that he has nothing to do with any other organization other than Chinmaya Mission. "I will be soon become president of the mission in Pimpri Chinchwad," he told TOI. On how he got the detailed information about Khadse's land deal, Gawande said, "I had gone to sub-registrar's office for some work and there was a crowd. I came to know that Khadse was going to arrive. Someone gave me the details of his visit." However, he did not reveal exactly how he got the documents and the details about the deal. "I am a common person. I don't know anyone in any big organization," Gawande claimed.
A mass leader from North Maharashtra, Khadse has not hidden his aspirations to become the CM. When Fadnavis was chosen by the leadership, Khadse had said that a non-Brahmin from Bahujan Samaj should have been made the CM. Another BJP leader, Pankaja Munde, who had staked a claim to the post, was accused in a chikki scam. "It is not a coincidence that Munde and Khadse have landed in corruption controversies," a BJP leader, admitting that "all is not well" within the state BJP camp.
