Mukesh, Amit, Shahid to lead J&K’s Cricket, Volleyball contingents

JAMMU, May 30: Physical Education Teacher (PET) of Government Middle School (GMS) Railway and Amit Sharma, PET, DYSSO Jammu have been appointed as Manager/Coach and Incharge Contingent of the J&K’s under-14 Cricket team.
The team will participate in the 61st National School Games to participate in the 61st National School Games to be organized by School Games Federation of India at Hayatnagar Ranga Reddy, Telangana from June 7 to 11.
The players, who are part of the cricket contingent, are Mohammad Manzoor and Mohammad Yasin from Baramulla, Aarav Mahajan, Rohan Gill, Yuvraj Singh, Praful Dhar and Musaif Ajaz from Jammu, Zahid Mushtaq and Shahaib Manzoor from Anantnag, Danish Maqbool from Ganderbal, Shivansh Sharma from Udhampur, Aqib Manzoor from Pulwama, Imran Khursheed from Poonch, Obaid from Srinagar, Kawan Preet Singh and Munish Choudhary from Kathua.
Apart from this, Shahid Mohi-ud-Din, PET, District Baramulla has been appointed as Coach for under-19 Volleyball contingent of Jammu and Kashmir, which will also participate in the 61st NSG.
The Volleyball contingent  includes Kuldeep Singh, Sahil Kumar and Deepak Singh from Jammu, Amir Bali Shah and Umar Hamid from Baramulla, Aqib from Kulgam, Hazam and Farat from Poonch, Rouhulla from Budgam, Kujafi from Kupwara, Gourav Kotwal from Udhampur and Raet Sadiq from Srinagar.
The Cricket and Volleyball teams will depart from Jammu on June 3.
