Kenya in talks with Uganda over terror convicts

Foreign Affairs Cabinet Secretary Amina Mohamed

NAIROBI: The Government is in discussion with the Ugandan authorities over the fate of four Kenyans found guilty of terrorist attacks in Kampala. However, Foreign Affairs Cabinet Secretary Amina Mohamed did not disclose the nature of the discussions. “Yes, we are in discussions with the Ugandan authorities over the four Kenyans found guilty of terrorism related charges. However, it is too early to say anything about the situation,” she said. The four Kenyans were last week found guilty of involvement in the 2010 Kampala terrorist bombing that left 74 people dead.
