The Airport Authority of India thrashed LDA, Lucknow, by 10 wickets in a match in the 34th All-India Gold Cup Cricket Tournament, played at Ranger's College Ground here on Monday.

Batting first, LDA, Lucknow, managed to score only 98 runs. The performance of its batting line was so terrible that nine of its batsmen were not able to score in double figures.

In reply, the Airport Authority of India (AAI) achieved the target comfortably in 13.5 overs without losing a wicket. Vikas and Satyam contributed 46 and 44 runs, respectively, whereas Sonu Rathi took the highest four wickets for the AAI team.

In another match of the day, Minerva Cricket Academy beat Cricket Association of Uttarakhand by eight wickets. Cricket Association of Uttarakhand put 175 runs on the board, which was achieved comfortably by Minerva Cricket Academy in 26 overs after losing two wickets. Jeevanjot scored the highest 88 runs for the winning team.
