Parvathy and Kunchacko team up for the first time
Editor-turned-filmmaker Mahesh Narayanan has gathered a stellar cast and crew for his debut directorial that will see Kunchacko Boban and Parvathy teaming up for the first time.
Mahesh has also scripted the movie along with P V Shajikumar. 'The story is about the lives of nurses in Kerala,' says the director, who had previously scripted the Amala Paul-starrer 'Mili'. 'This film will be entirely different from Mili, which centred on an individual and had a small setting.
This story follows the life of several people.'
On its protagonists, he says, 'We have signed up Kunchacko Boban and Parvathy in lead roles. I can't reveal much about their characters or the locations because it has a surprise element attached to it.'
The filmmaker has also roped in a talented crew for the movie, which will go on floors by June 20. Shaan Rahman will be composing the music while Sanu Varghese, who had cranked the camera for Kamal Haasan's 'Thoongavanam' and Bejoy Nambiar's 'Wazir', will handle the cinematography.
Incidentally, 'Mili' which was scripted by Mahesh was helmed by late director Rajesh Pillai, whose wife Mekha will serve as the executive producer for the upcoming movie. The film will be produced by Rajesh Pillai Films in association with Anto Joseph Film company.
