Madonna claps back at BET for shading her Prince tribute

If you thought her Majesty wasn't going to address that BET shade, let us remind you (bleep), she's Madonna.

As a refresher, after Madonna's tribute to Prince at the Billboard Music Awards — which also featured the legendary Stevie Wonder — on May 22, the network released a teaser for its Prince tribute that will take place at the BET Awards. Text in the promo said, "Yeah, we saw that. Don't worry. We Got You."

Well Madonna caught wind of that, and here's what she had to say about it.

The singer took to Instagram and launched some shade of her own.

In a subsequent post, Madonna shared a pic of herself wearing sunnies and captioned the pic, "I Will Shade You," complete with the sunglasses emoji and tons of laughter.

The BET Awards will air on June 26. We'll see if Madonna has anything to say then.
