Man killed in accident near Carletonville

Carletonville – A man was killed and two others injured in an accident on Deelkraal Road near Carletonville in Gauteng on Monday.

ER24 spokesperson Pieter Rossouw said it was believed that the driver lost control of the vehicle, causing it to roll several times before it landed on its roof.

CDs were left scattered next to the vehicle.

"When ER24 paramedics arrived on scene, they found the vehicle on its roof in a nearby field and also found that all the patients had been ejected from the vehicle," Rossouw said.

One person was transported to Fountain Hospital in Carletonville.

The police were investigating.
