Speaker admits two Resolutions on Dulhasti, Salal projects, Targami

Srinagar, May 30 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly speaker Kavinder Gupta today admitted two Private Members Resolutions moved by lone CPI-M member on transfer of Dulhasti and Salal power projects to state.
Mr Mohammad Yousuf Targami, who represents Kulgam constituency in the House, said here this evening that he had moved two Private Members Resolutions in terms of Rule 179 of the Rules of Procedures and Conduct of Business of J&K Legislative Assembly for discussing the transfer of Dulhasti and Salal Power Project to J&K State as recommended by the Rangarajan Committee.
He said another Resolution was for establishment of Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) and Indian Institute of Hotel Management (IIHM) in Kashmir Valley.

Kannur (Kerala), April 26 (UNI) Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan shared a word of caution for CPI(M) central committee member and LDF state convenor EP Jayarajan on Friday amid rumours of his possible leap to the saffron side, following a meeting with BJP leader Prakash Javadekar in Thiruvananthapuram.
The CPI(M) politburo member talking to the media after voting at RC Amala school booth at Pinarayi near Dharmadam, said Jayarajan should practice caution while choosing friends from the political opponent spectrum.

Palakkad (Kerala), April 26 (UNI) In separate incidents across Kerala on Friday four people, including a booth agent, collapsed and died during the Lok Sabha polls. The deaths were reported in Ottapalam of Palakkad, Kuttichira in Kozhikode, Kakkazham in Alappuzha, and Tirur in Malappuram district.
