Remembering the 22 students of Burning Candle School, Handwara who were drowned in Wullar Lake in 2006, the incarcerated chairman of Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) Shabir Ahmad Shah on Monday said our hearts are still grieved over such a big loss of our children In a statement issued to KNS, Shah said on that fateful day, the Indian forces deliberately played with the lives of those innocent children and gave an everlasting pain to the dozens of families.Expressing solidarity with the bereaved families, Shah said, “We are equally grieved at the loss of innocent children. The world silence over such tragedies of Kashmir is extremely unfortunate.” Shah also prayed for eternal peace to the martyred children. (KNS)
