Sunrisers Hyderabad have been flooded with congratulatory messages on social media platforms following their win over Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Indian Premier League final on Sunday night. (Full IPL Coverage)

David Warner's captaincy and SRH's bowling have been lauded in the cricket circles here after their eight-run victory in the high-octane clash at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium. Former and current cricketers, along with the fans immediately took to Twitter and Facebook to wish Warner and his men on their maiden IPL win. (Watch! Among the numerous messages posted on SRH's Twitter handle, there was one particular tweet which stood out. Kolkata Knight Riders skipper Gautam Gambhir also congratulated Warner on the victory but his tweet seems to be hiding a message for RCB captain Virat Kohli.

Gambhir has referred to Warner and his players as 'nice guys' in his tweet taking a direct dig at Kohli and Co. If the Sunrisers are nice guys then aren't the RCB boys the complete opposite? Gambhir then goes on to praise SRH bowlers for their match-winning effort in the title clash which also seems to suggest that RCB, who have one of the deadliest batting lineups in the tournament, were no match for the likes of Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Mustafizur Rahman. This 'read between the lines' tweet from Gambhir clearly suggests that there is still some bad blood between him and Kohli after their spat during the 2013 IPL season. (Harbhajan slaps Sreesanth, Kohli clashes with Gambhir: Top 10 IPL fights)

The Delhi duo had an ugly tiff on the field during a match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bangalore. Both captains came face to face and appeared to deliver a mouthful of expletives to each other. The incident caught everyone by surprise and it was their Delhi teammate Rajat Bhatia, who intervened between the two. (India's future safe in Virat Kohli's hands: David Warner)

KOHLI's FANS HIT BACK AT GAUTI

Twitterati was quick to latch on to Gambhir's post and asked him whether he was actually congratulating Sunrisers or mocking Kohli.
