Tainted CBI inspector, associate sent to judicial custody
Chandigarh: The tainted CBI Inspector, Ravinder Singla, and his associate, Gautam Sharma, have been remanded to judicial custody for fourteen days in connection with a corruption case on Monday. Both were arrested for extorting and using a Honda City of a leading pharmaceutical company and threatening company's officials to implicate them in a false case.
On May 26, a special team of CBI officials from Delhi had arrested the duo.

Inspector Singla, who was attached with Special Crime Branch (SCB), and Sharma had been remanded to four days in police custody, which ended on Monday.
