Bayern Munich chairman says Bavarian club won't sell Robert Lewandowski to Real Madrid

Bayern München will resist any attempts by Real Madrid to lure Robert Lewandowski to the Santiago Bernabéu this summer, the Bavarian giants’ chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has claimed.
The Poland striker has three years to run on his contract at the Allianz Arena but is linked on a daily basis with a move to the 11-time European champions by the Madrid-based media, an annual event when Real set their sights on a summer target.
Lewandowski, who scored 30 goals in the Bundesliga last term, is considering his options and has been courted by Florentino Pérez, the Madrid president, ever since he netted four goals against them in the Champions League semi-finals three years ago.
Cezary Kucharski, the 27-year-old’s agent, admitted this month that he has held preliminary talks with Madrid, revealing “we listened to everything they said” before branding Zinédine Zidane’s side a “big and exciting” club.
But Rummenigge has moved to quash any talk of Lewandowski leaving: “One thing I know for sure, Robert Lewandowski will play in the upcoming season at Bayern Munich. There is no need to think anything else.
“The decision has been made: we won't let Robert Lewandowski go, regardless of what offer lands on the table. There is no pain-barrier [to contract negotiations] when it comes to Robert.”
