Arvind Swami's cop getup will be the suspense factor in Bogan
Jayam Ravi and Arvind Swami have completed the first schedule of their upcoming film Bogan, which is being directed by Lakshman. CT gets an exclusive still from the film featuring Jayam Ravi and Arvind Swami. Interestingly both of them are seen in the cop attire. While we had earlier reported that Ravi would be playing a cop in the film, we wonder now if Arvind Swami, too, will be playing a cop.
Director Lakshman says, 'Arvind Swami plays a guy who hails from a king's family of Tamil Nadu. It is a very powerful role and Arvind Swami has done in his inimitable style. He even sports a murukku meesai for his role in the film. Why he is sporting cop look in this particular still, is the supense factor of the film, and it is too early to talk about. We shot this scene in a specially erected jail set, in the city.'
Talking about Arvind Swami, Lakshman says, 'He is not an easy person to convince, he is someone who has many questions about his character. Once we explain to him about the role, he is so down-to-earth that he will even work as a co-director of the film, with utmost involvement.'
Lakshman has completed two schedules of the film and we hear that the team will be heading to France next to shoot a couple of songs next.
