AK Alrosa PAO : ALROSA announces new appointment

Moscow, May 27, 2016 - PJSC ALROSA, the world leader in diamond mining, has announced the appointment of Matvey Evseev as the Company Vice President.

Within the new powers, Matvey Evseev will be in charge of the implementation of a number of ALROSA Group's special projects at mining facilities.

'Professional background and expertise of Matvey Evseev will boost the development of the projects being important for the Company's further growth while not being core projects from the point of view of diamond mining,' - says ALROSA President Andrey Zharkov.

Before the appointment, Mr. Evseev was the CEO of OJSC Almazy Anabara, ALROSA's subsidiary. ALROSA's Supervisory Board will consider the candidates and appoint the new CEO of the company.

OJSC Almazy Anabara is engaged in rough diamond production at the placer deposits in Anabarsky, Olenyoksky, Bulunsky and Zhigansky uluses of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). Its share in ALROSA Group's total diamond output in 2015 was 9%.
