PUNE: CybageKhushboo, a self-sustained non governmental organisation and philanthropic arm of Cybage Software Pvt. Ltd., has announced its annual scholarship programme for the academic year 2016-2017. CybageKhushboo invites applications from deserving students, who are socially and economically deprived, but wish to pursue higher education in engineering, medicine and related fields, architecture, physiotherapy, pharmacy, nursing, and homeopathy among others.
In addition to the existing 626 beneficiaries of the scholarship programme, 160 new, eligible, and meritorious candidates will receive aid, thus taking the total contribution to Rs 1.55 crore.

On this occasion, Ritu Nathani, trustee, CybageKhushboo, and director, Cybage, said, “CybageKhushboo believes that education is the only tool that can provide a level playing field to eventually bridge the disparities in our country. Our aim is to constantly provide financial aid to economically deprived but promising students so that they can fulfil their dreams. Along with financial aid, we also focus on the holistic development of our students through various voluntary training and development sessions at Cybage. We are looking forward to maximum applications this year as well. Our tie-ups with colleges such as Pune Vidyarthi Griha (PVG) and Vishwakarma Institute of Technology (VIT), and partnerships with organizations such as iTeach (an offshoot of Teach for India) have helped us spread our reach.”
More than 1,000 beneficiaries have been associated with CybageKhushboo. Some of them have been placed in renowned companies such as TCS, Accenture, HSBC, and Crompton Greaves, the NGO informed through a press release.
