Mouni Roy thanks Ekta Kapoor for the hit show Naagin

Bengali beauty Mouni Roy, who plays the lead role in hit TV show Naagin, has thanked her producer Ekta Kapoor for giving her the opportunity to be a part of the hit show.
Mouni plays the role of Naagin in the show which has been topping the TRPs for a while now. The finite series has been quite a hit with the viewers and is going to end in June. Talks are also on for the second season of the show soon.

Naagin, which was extended twice on popular demand, made Mouni a household name.In her message on Instagram, Mouni praised Ekta Kapoor and thanked her for believing in her.
Mouni wrote on Instagram "This is not just a thank you post, this was long overdue. Yesterday was the last day i role played Shivanya, one of the many characters she sketched in her life ,changed a lot of people s lives for better and no number of thank yous would ever be enough. Fierce , strong, self made, kind , happy, vulnerable, always standing by her people, a different individual is how i have read her in all these years. Netriyi , comes to my mind when i think of her, creating a fantastical world of her own! Ekta maam ( like I always address you ) in the first job you gave me till yesterday thank you for letting me have the quiet satisfaction of knowing that you believe in me! It means the world to me i owe it all to you God has & will walk hand in hand with you in all the paths you walk by

Mouni Roy plays an 'Ichchadhari Naagin' Shivanya who is out to seek revenge for her parents' murder. The show also features Arjun Bijlani and Adaa Khan in the lead roles. Mouni is currently hosting reality dance show 'So You Think You can Dance' on And TV.
