Actress Madirakshi Mundle, who will be seen as Sita in the mythological TV show "Siya Ke Ram", says she feels "blessed" for bagging the role. While the show witnessed a grand entry of actor Ashish Sharma as the grown up Ram earlier this week, the viewers will get to see the entry of the grown up princess of Mithila, Sita, on Thursday. "I'm blessed to be playing the role of Sita. It is my first Hindi show and I've got an extremely special and significant role for my debut in the Hindi TV industry," Madirakshi, who made her acting debut with the 2015 Telugu film "Ori Devudoy", said in a statement. "It has been worth the wait and I'm really excited about my entry on the show. My family has been eagerly waiting and I am really looking forward to it," she added. The Star Plus show presents the story of the epic Ramayana from Sita's perspective. It also features Dalip Tahil, Bhargavi Chirmule and Manish Wadhwa among others. ( IANS)
While the crucial Sita apaharan sequence in the show Siya Ke Ram was being shot, Madirakshi Mundle who plays Sita, got injured in an accident. The shooting had to be stalled for a while as she got badly hurt.

She said, “It was an important shot for us where Karthik Jayaram who plays Ravan had to kidnap me. So, I had to run away from him and while doing so, I missed seeing the iron wired fence that was there.
The fence fell on me and left me with bruises on my entire body. I could barely walk or stand up. People on the set got worried because I was badly hurt. I could not shoot till the next day morning and we had to postpone the scene.”
