THE Filipino workers’ lobby group Trade Union Congress of the Philippines (TUCP)-Nagkakaisa has called for the immediate dismissal from service of the two top officials of the Social Security System (SSS) for moves prejudicial to the interest of its members.

The TUCP is after the heads of SSS President and Chief Executive Officer Emilio de Quiros and Chairman Juan Santos, who it claims were behind the proposed Compensation and Position Classification System (CPCS) that would grant them and other SSS top executives excessive “midnight perks” amounting to P800,000 a month.
