SRI is an agro ecological methodology or increasing the productivity of irrigated rice by changing the management of plants, soil, water and nutrients. Under the SRI, seeds are sown sparsely to multiply enormous offspring of seeds.According to information department official, SRI principles and practices have been adapted for rain fed rice cultivation areas as well as for other crops with yield increase and associated economic benefits.
