Germany will face Slovakia in an international friendly game in Augsburg on Sunday. Joachim Low's men in white will begin their European Championship preparation with this game and they will look to boost their confidence before they fly off to France for the finals of Euro 2016.

The recent stats of the World Champions are not really nice to look at. They have just managed to win three out of their last 10 friendly matches and that is not a good sign for Low and his men, who are being considered as one of the favourites to win the Euro Cup this time around.

Germany's last international victory came against Italy in March, when they had tamed the Azzurri's 4-1. But after that game, they lost three consecutive matches against USA, France and England.

Now they are up against an upbeat Slovakia side, which finished second after Spain in the Euro Cup 2016 qualifying campaign. In their last 22 fixtures in all formats, Slovakia have won 16 games, drawn three and lost just three games. They also won seven matches during European Championship qualifying campaign.

But Slovakia do not hold a good record against the Germans. They have lost three out of their last four games against Germany and they will look to change that piece of stat on Sunday in Augsburg.

Slovakia will be confident in the presence of their two star players Martin Skrtel and Marek Hamsik. These two will be crucial during the Euro Cup as well. Slovakia are coming into this game after a victory over Georgia. Adam Nemec found the back of the net twice against Gerogia and coach Jan Kozak will expect him to try and do the same against Germany on Sunday as well as during the upcoming Euro 2016.

Meanwhile, Germany will be missing the likes of Bastian Schweinsteiger and Mats Hummels as the two stars are yet to recover from injuries. Despite that, Germany boasts a number of superstars in their ranks and are one of the world powerhouses.

Probable XI:

Germany: Leno; Hector, Rüdiger, Boateng, Mustafi; Weigl, Can, Kimmich; Sane, Brandt, Draxler.

Slovakia: Mucha; Tesak, Skrtel, Salata, Gyomber; Kucka, Hamsik, Zrelak; Stoch, Nemec, Weiss.
