Kerala: After nearly three months since the death of the much loved, 'people's actor' from Malayalam film industry - Kalabhavan Mani, sources say, the lab report from Central Forensic Science Laboratory in Hyderabad has confirmed the presence of Methyl Alcohol in the actor's body. This could indicate towards the death being caused due to spurious liquor.

However, the levels of Methyl Alcohol have not been confirmed and the police are yet to submit their final report on the cause of the sudden death of the 45-year-old Kalabhavan Mani. There were initial reports of traces of pesticide found in his body.

The funeral of the actor, which was conducted with all state honour, was witnessed by thousands of people, who poured in to pay their last homage.

From an auto rickshaw driver, to a mimicry artist to being known as a "people's actor", Kalabhavan Mani was much loved. His untimely death on March 6 this year came as a shock for his fans.
