KV shines in CBSE Class X results

Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV) has excelled in CBSE class X exams, the results of which were announced on Friday.Of the 196 students who appeared for the exam, 52 have secured 10 CGPA.

Mysuru: Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV) has excelled in CBSE class X exams, the results of which were announced on Friday. Of the 196 students who appeared for the exam, 52 have secured 10 CGPA. Compared to last year, there is an increase in the number of students getting 10 CGPA.
KV had also made headlines by doing well in CBSE class XII exams. For the past five years, KV managed to score centum results in CBSE X exams.
In the last 10 years, this is for the first time that 52 students have scored 10 CGPA (it was 28 last year). K J Bhavana, a PCMB student, emerged topper in the college by scoring 95.6% marks.
Principal M Nirmala Kumari said: "The results are good, and I thank all students and teaching and non-teaching staff for this. Holding remedial classes helped us to improve the results."
Kautilya Vidyalaya, Demonstration School, JSS Public School (Siddharthanagar) and Supreme School (Kanakadasanagar) have also secured centum result. In Kautilya Vidyalaya, 16 of the 60 students who had appeared for the exam have scored 10 CGPA. For the 24th consecutive year, JSS Public School scored centum results. All its 97 students have scored first-class marks, while 21 scored A1 in all subjects with CGPA 10. Sixty-four students have scored distinction. In NCERT-run Demonstration School, 3 of the 63 students have scored 10 CGPA. S T Singh, assistant headmaster, said that there is an improvement in results compared to last year. In Supreme School, 4 of 22 students have got 10 CGPA.
