PM’s rally: traffic to be diverted in Davangere

Superintendent of Police Bhimashankar Guled has said that the traffic on the main roads of the city will be diverted to ensure the smooth movement of vehicles in view of the Vikas Parva rally organised by the Bharatiya Janata Party to mark the completion of two years of the National Democratic Alliance government on Sunday.

He told presspersons here on Saturday that arrangements had been made for parking of vehicles.

Parking

Those coming from Shamanur Road should be parked on Moti Veerappa College premises, vehicles coming from Chitradurga, Bada and Avargere Road should be parked at DAR grounds and those coming from Hadadi Road should be parked at the district stadium.

Those with VIP and VVIP passes should enter the venue through prescribed gates and the people should enter through the common gates. Separate entry has been arranged for presspersons, he added.
