NOIDA: A property dealer got back his Honda City stolen last August on Saturday after chancing upon the car on an e-commerce website. He set up a meeting with the advertiser, informed the police and got him arrested.
The black sedan was in the same shape in which it had been stolen, with even its registration plate intact, police said. It was number plate, DL 4CR 0757, that caught Kulwant Singh's eye when he was surfing OLX.

SP (city) Dinesh Yadav said the car had been stolen from outside Singh's house in Sector 21. Singh had subsequently filed a complaint at Sector 20 police station. When the car wasn't found in the next few months, Singh gave up hope and started looking for a used vehicle. Earlier this week, he started checking ads on OLX. That's when he came upon his own car, put up for sale with the advertiser's mobile number in the link.
Singh got in touch with him, a person named Ahmad living in Loni. He struck a deal and scheduled a meeting at the Sector 21-25 intersection. Ahmad was arrested by a police team in plainclothes. Ahmad claimed he had bought the car from another person, also a resident of Loni.
"Ahmad used the car for some months and decided to sell it on OLX. We have identified the main accused as Zulfikar," said Yadav.
