Aparna Vinod to play second lead in a Vijay movie

Malayalis might not have forgotten actress Aparna Vinod's performance in the Asif Ali-starrer Kohinoor. We had already reported that the actress will be seen in Kollywood in Vijay's upcoming movie, directed by Azhagiya Tamil Magan fame Bharathan.
Aparna, who is on cloud nine, says, 'I never expected to do a movie of such a scale and I am happy that I will be acting alongside Vijay as the second heroine of Vijay 60.' Aparna adds that she is eagerly looking forward to the shoot of the film, which is expected to start soon.Although she does not divulge much about her role, she says, 'I play a village belle, a vital character that will carry the story forward.'
And it looks like the young actress has already set her priorities right. 'I always wanted to debut in a lead role in Tamil. In this film I appear as a second heroine. But I have no qualms about it as I am convinced about the importance of my role.' Apart from Aparna, the film has Mollywood's doe-eyed beauty Keerthy Suresh in the movie.
