Solan, May 28

Sushmita Devi, spokesperson of the All India Congress Committee (AICC), today ridiculed the two-year stint of the Modi-led NDA government at the Centre and said it had caused frustration among all sections of society.

She released a book enlisting the failures of the NDA government and said Modi had failed to fulfil various promises made in the run-up to the general election. She said issues like providing employment to 2 crore youth, depositing Rs 15 lakh in the bank accounts of every citizen, bringing black money back in 100 days, reducing price rise, etc, all had been forgotten. — TNS
