Eight Russian athletes failed drug tests in the re-testing of samples from the London 2012 Olympics, the Russian Olympic Committee has announced.
The ROC said in a short statement on Saturday that the athletes came from three different sports, but added they would not be named until their 'B' samples had been analysed.
