Clerics slams SP govt for Bajrang Dal arms training camp in UP

Lucknow, May 28(UNI) Deobandi Muslim clerics have slammed the Samajawadi Party-led government in Uttar Pradesh for being a mute spectator to the arms training camps being run by the Bajrang Dal with impunity in different parts of the state.
The clerics said that such camps are freely spreading hatred against the Muslims and creating fear among the community.
''Such camps by the Hindutuva forces have clear political connotations as state assembly elections are not far away. What is even more intriguing is the passive stance of the Samajwadi party-led government of the state which has done nothing so far except lodging an FIR and arresting one person on hate charges in Ayodhya’’, said Maulana Adil Siddiqui of Darul Uloom, Deoband, adding `` the SP and the BJP seems to be hand in glove with a clear political objective’’.
