Actor Om Puri slams Patidar quota agitation

Film actor Om Puri who was in Ahmedabad today to promote his upcoming film Marathwada slammed Patidar agitators for holding an agitation for reservation quota.
Om Puri who plays a role of poor farmer from Maharshtra in this film when was asked about Patidar agitation said, “I am disappointed that Patels in Gujarat did agitation for quota. They have lot of money. They have motels in America,and still they are seeking reservation? Beggers would seek reservation. Did you ever see Sardars seeking reservation quota in Punjab? Don’t they have poor section? But they will never seek reservation. That is dignity. I am against reservation. If you want to extend help then give good education for free, give cloths and tution but not reservation.”
Om Puri who through this film ‘Marathwada’ attempts to highlight the issue of farmers suicide said the nation is facing so many problems and it will take time to resolve these issues but we have got a person who can feel these problems. He is the son of Gujarat. He is Narendra Modi.
Om Puri asked media persons to request Narendra Modi to do something for the farmers. He said family of farmers who committees suicide should get relief money speedily. They have to run here and there to get their right which is wrong.
