Prosenjit Chhaterjee compares Hindi and Bengali cinema
Despite making his debut in a Bollywood film, Prosenjit Chatterjee went on to make it big in Bengali cinema. However, now the actor seems to be working on making a mark again in Hindi films since he was of late seen in films like 'Shanghai' and 'Traffic'.

Trying to balance both the cinemas, Prosenjit is upbeat about the changing face of regional cinemas which seems to have got a bigger audience with even non-Bengalis wanting to watch good cinema.
This he feels is because the content as compared to Hindi films is the reason for the churning out of some great Bengali films. At the same time, he says he is ready to take up Hindi films if the roles offered to him are interesting enough.
