The Udupi City Municipal Council (CMC) on Friday revised the water supply time-table. The revised time-table comes into effect on Saturday.
The CMC has divided areas into several parts for distribution. Due to the declining water-level in the Baje Dam, water is being supplied once in three days.
In a press release here, D. Manjunathaiah, CMC Commissioner, said that tap water would be supplied from 5.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. on May 28, May 31, June 3 and June 6 in Indira Nagar, Kasturba Nagar, Badagabettu, Chitpady, Kunjibettu, Ajjarkad, Shiribeedu, Bannanje, Tenkapete, Ambalpady, Volakadu, Bailoor, Kinnimulki, Kola, Vadabhandeshwara, Malpe Central, Kalmady, Manipal and part of Kodavoor.
Tap water would be supplied from 5.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. on May 29, June 1, June 4 and June 7 in Indrali, Sagri, Mooduperampalli (Gundibail), Doddanagudde, Karamballi, Kakkunje, Nittur, Kadiyali, Subrahmanya Nagar, Kodankur, Gopalpura, Eshwar Nagar, Saralebettu, Parkala, Settibettu, Moodubettu and part of Kodavoor, the release said.
