Police arrested two men after surrounding a house on Hartford Street with guns drawn.Watch the reportThe arrests, at about 7 p.m., come after an earlier crash involving two vehicles on Grant Street in which two pedestrians were struck, the MetroWest Daily News reported. Both pedestrians were taken to area hospitals, police confirmed.There is no word on their condition.According to police radio communications, the report from witnesses was that a car or truck hit a pedestrian and then the occupants of the vehicle got out of the car and pistol-whipped the victim who was seriously injured.Residents described hearing a crash, then seeing four men fighting. Two took off toward Hartford Street.Riany Ferreira said she heard a crash in her front driveway. She came out the door to see two men beating a man on the ground, cursing at him, she said."They started kicking and punching the guy on the ground," she said.She said his leg looked broken.The two men fled down grant toward Hartford street. At 7 p.m., police confirmed there was a two-vehicle crash in front of 318 Grant St. involving a black pickup truck and white sedan and two pedestrians were injured and taken to an area hospital.
