Hyundai Creta is a great car. Oh! for the love of the car itself, don’t we all know that?

The unable-to-supply-ever-increasing-demand the car has been receiving with overwhelming response both by the critics and the public.

And as the Kohinoor in its crown, the Creta has even grabbed the Indian Car of the Year Award 2016.

However, the big question whether this award is justified?

We all know that most of the automobile magazines and websites will now announce their own awards for cars, bikes and other vehicles. But when all those companies come together and select one winner, then it must be special, right?

Hyundai has shown growth rapidly in terms of both quality and quantity.

The company has continuously churned out great cars that look good, drive good and offer many segment-leading features.

Hyundai Creta is another car in that list and has helped the Korean company grab its third consecutive ICOTY award after Grand i10 and Elite i20 for 2014 and 2015 respectively. This is Hyundai’s fourth such award, making it the only company to achieve so.

Hyundai Creta, launched in July 2015, has already raked in over 90,000 bookings (including 16,000 units for export).

And the company is confident that it will go over 100,000 units by the time this article is published. Please note that the Creta is made only in India and is exported to several Latin American, West Asian and African countries.

The point that the Creta is made only in India is not just to show off but also to highlight its tough and sturdy characteristics as the Creta has scored 4 out of 5 stars in the Latin NCAP crash tests.
