Ad filmmaker-turned-director Arvind Ramalingam, who is making his debut with the film Karma, has won a nomination for Best Director of a Foreign Language Feature Film at the Madrid International Film Festival, which is going to be held in the first week of July. The film is also an official selection at the fest.
Talking about this nomination, Arvind says, ���I had sent my film to various films, and I was informed by the officials of the Madrid film fest that the film has been selected to be screened at the fest.
And not only that, I���ve also been nominated for Best Director under the Foreign Language Feature Film category. This is the only Tamil film to have been selected for this festival.��� The filmmaker will be going to Madrid for the screening, which is on July 4.
