Adele Gets Lost In Music And Forgets Song Lyrics - Again!

Grammy-Award-winning singer Adele can do no wrong in her fans’ eye but she was forced to apologise on stage in Lisbon, Portugal, this week when she forgot the lyrics to her own song ‘Million Years Ago’.

The 28-year-old star got off on the wrong foot when she couldn’t remember the first verse of the haunting ballad and belted out the chorus line instead.

She then cut the music when she realised her error and in true Adele fashion – and why we love her – she started swearing at herself.

Adele told the crowd: “S***, wrong words, s***, s***, s***! I started singing the verse instead of the chorus, sorry!”

But it’s not the first time the London-born songstress has got lost in music.

In 2011, Adele was performing in Boston, US, and cheerily singing her 2008 hit Chasing Pavements when she suddenly froze and confessed to the crowd in that she couldn’t remember the next line to the chart-topping song.

Rather than mumble on – or let her fans’ do the singing – the honest star told them: “I forgot the words! Oh my god, I’ve never forgotten the words to that song.”
