Pak army ready to respond all sorts of threats: Army chief
General Raheel said that coordination within all three armed forces is exemplary
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif has stated that the curse of terrorism shall be uprooted from the country, adding that success in Operation Zarb-e-Azb has been achieved with the help of the entire nation, reported Dunya News on Friday.
While addressing a ceremony at the Pakistan Navy War College in Lahore, General Raheel Sharif said that the armed forces are ready to respond to all kinds of threats, further stating that the challenges faced by the country shall be dealt with through collective effort.
COAS said that Pak Navy has a wonderful history of valour and sacrifices. He stated that the Navy has always met the expectations of the nation when it comes to protecting the maritime boundaries of the country. General Raheel said that the coordination within all three armed forces is exemplary.
General Raheel said that achievements in Operation Zarb-e-Azb have only been achieved as a result of the support provided by the Pakistani nation, adding that the war against terrorists shall continue until the terrorists in the country meet their fate.
