Haryana govt announces cash reward for info on blast

The Haryana government has announced a reward of Rs 10 lakh to any person who would give credible information about the criminals involved in heinous crime of triggering a blast in a Haryana Roadways bus, which was on its way to Chandigarh from Sonepat on Thursday.

GURGAON: The Haryana government has announced a reward of Rs 10 lakh to any person who would give credible information about the criminals involved in the blast in a Haryana Roadways bus, which was on its way to Chandigarh from Sonepat on Thursday.
“A First Information Report No.256 dated May 26,2016 has been registered under section 307 of Indian Penal Code, sections 3 and 5 of Explosives Substances Act, section 4 of Prevention of Damage to Public Property Act and section 16 of Unlawful Activities Prevention Act at Police Station Sadar Thana, Kurukshetra.
The blast occurred near Kurukshetra and some passengers have been injured,” said a spokesman of Haryana police department.
“A Special Investigation Team (SIT) has already been constituted under the chairmanship of Haryana Additional Director General of Police,Crime, SS Kapoor and it has already started its investigation,” he said.
