See Katie Holmes as Jackie O for a Kennedys TV series

Katie Holmes will once again don the pillbox hats and classic dresses of Jackie Kennedy Onassis when she reprises her role in the Reelz TV miniseries The Kennedys: After Camelot.

Holmes previously starred as the stylish First Lady in the 2011 miniseries The Kennedys, which also featured Greg Kinnear as John F. Kennedy, Barry Pepper as Bobby Kennedy, and Tom Wilkinson as Joe Kennedy Sr.

Matthew Perry will play Ted Kennedy in The Kennedys: After Camelot. This follow-up miniseries will focus on Ted Kennedy after the assassinations of his brothers JFK and Bobby, including his handling of his public image and private life while managing the Kennedys’ political devotions. Jackie stayed close to Ted after the death of her husband.

The Kennedys: After Camelot is based on The New York Times bestseller After Camelot: A Personal History of the Kennedy Family 1968 to the Present by author and biographer J. Randy Taraborrelli. The show will premiere later this year, according to Reelz.
