No proposal to shift CRPF from Zainakote HMT industrial area, Minister

Srinagar, May 27 (UNI) There is no proposal to shift the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) camp from Zainakote Hindustan Machine Tools (HMT) industrial area, Jammu and Kashmir minister Incharge Home Mehbooba Mufti said.
In a written reply to a question by Noor Mohammad Sheikh, a ruling PDP MLA representing Batmaloo constituency, the Chief Minister, who also holds Home portfolio said, under the Alternate Accommodation Programme of Ministry of Home Affairs, the police department has constructed or constructing accommodation for re-location of security force personnel, hitherto housed in government, private establishments.
However, non-availability of land is an impediment in the completion of the project, the minister said.
