Possibly clawing their way for "Wolverine 3" in terms of spoilers are the Easter eggs in the final moments for "X-Men: Apocalypse." Warning: If you haven't seen "X-Men: Apocalypse" yet then please do not continue reading this discussion will cover both "X-Men: Apocalypse" and the untitled Wolverine sequel.

According to Attack of the Fanboy, "X-Men: Apocalypse" redesigned Marvel Cinematic Universe's usual format for end-credits scenes as it halted its two-part presentation which comes after the stylized credit sequences and another one when the entire credits have completed.

"X-Men: Apocalypse" has only one after-credits at the very end and tackles about the shadowy government splinter group Weapon X and their supposed Canadian secret facility.

The following statement below from the website noted that the "X-Men: Apocalypse" after-credits scene will possibly stir the pot for MCU's titles like "Wolverine 3," "Gambit," or the New Mutants movie.

"Anyway, in the middle of the film, you would have seen Wolverine breaking out of William Stryker's Weapon X facility. The place was pretty much left in shambles since Wolverine killed Stryker's men even though Stryker himself escaped.

"In the post-credits scene, we see a team of men overseeing the damage that has been done and then a man picks up a blood sample of Weapon X. Weapon X is of course Wolverine so this means this man might be responsible for creating X-23 who is basically a female mutant with claws. Gamers might remember she is a playable character in Marvel vs Capcom 3."

Hugh Jackman in previous reports has confirmed that "Wolverine 3" will follow the narrative of a comic book story arc, possibly "Old Man Logan."

"Wolverine 3" is proposed to be the sequel to 2009's X-Men Origins: Wolverine and 2013's The Wolverine, and is the tenth installment in the X-Men film series. It will be directed by James Mangold.
