Fortunately, the 15-year old girl has returned home and blamed that she was upset for getting into an argument with her brother. She explained that she spent an entire night regretting her decision at Karjat railway platform.
The Khopoli Police Station had filed a kidnapping case as the girl was a minor. On investigating the teenage girls school friends, Officers found some inconsistencies. Officers asked the girl about the ornaments if she had a hand in stealing them.
In a surprising turn of events, it was the 15-year old who had stolen the ornaments. She gave the gold to her boyfriend so that he could buy a sportsbike. The girl was having an affair with a 20-year old boy, whose financial situation was not quite strong.
