Talking about the DVD on Metro FM recently, Somizi said that he had a clear target market in mind when creating the DVD.

He explained that the decision mostly came from personal preference.

"For me, I don't find a straight guy doing these exercises attractive. Can you imagine? If guys want to do it, then they can because it's good for the body, but I can't imagine seeing a straight guy doing some of these exercises?" he said.

Somizi explained that despite his history as a choreographer the DVD is not intended to help teach people how to dance, but rather help people get fit using local dance moves.

"We are using local dance styles and turning them into fitness routines. Have you seen how many of us dance in the clubs? Now, imagine doing those same moves when sober," he joked.

Somizi also revealed that he is planning to hold a number of impromptu exercise sessions with fans over the next few weeks.

"We will be doing random sessions for free in parking lots and parks. It will be like 'meet me in Thokozo park on Saturday and just come,'" he said.

Earlier this month Somizi released a teaser video for the DVD, so that you know what you're in for when it finally drops.
