Shahid Kapoor busy promoting 'Udta Punjab'

Shahid Kapoor, who will be next seen in Abhishek Chaubey's upcoming film 'Udta Punjab', has officially kick-started promotional events for the film. The 'Haider' actor, who loves to experiment with his looks, will now be seen as a Punjabi rockstar Tommy Singh in the movie.His look comprises long locks, perfectly toned abs and a thick beard. As Tommy Singh, the actor's body language, lingo and style have created a lot of excitement among fans, who are waiting to watch Shahid pull off the character on the big screen.
'Udta Punjab' revolves around the lives of four individuals played by Shahid, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Diljit Dosanjh, who are affected by drug abuse prevalent in Punjab. The movie is all set to release on June 17.
