VJTI team to display electric solar car
VJTI Racing, official brand of SAEINDIA-VJTI Collegiate Club, will also be showcasing their vehicle in dna auto show this year. The vehicle is a prototype for a reliable, maintainable, ergonomic and economic production vehicle, which can serve the recreational user market sized at approximately 4,000 units per year. The indigenous electric solar vehicle has been created keeping in mind the current trends of technology and issues concerning its sustainability. The car can achieve a speed of around 40km/hr, and runs on 2KW BLDC motor 48 volts. Its battery, once charged, runs for 6 hours maximum.
