Katrina skips Karan Johar's birthday bash due to Ranbir's presence?

Karan Johar rang in his 44th birthday with an entourage of Bollywood biggies. After spending time at a wellness spa in Austria, the filmmaker flew to London to bring in his birthday with Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan, who were there to be part of son Aryan’s graduation ceremony.

The party started on the eve of his birthday, which is May 24, and joining the bash were Ranbir Kapoor, who flew in from Morocco, Sidharth Malhotra, Aarti Shetty, and Ayan Mukerji who flew in from Mumbai specially.

Katrina Kaif, who was also in London at the time to meet her family, was supposed to join the party, but seemed to back out at the last minute, possibly due to Ranbir’s presence. She did not feature in any pictures shared by Karan.

Also on the guest list of the party were Saif Ali Khan and Kareena, who were already in London, along with Shweta Bachchan Nanda, who was there to attend her daughter Navya Naveli’s graduation.

A source said, “It was a private affair and only his close friends were there. SRK and his entire family were there and of course AbRam was the centre of attention. He kept everyone entertained with his antics. Kat was in London, but wasn’t seen at the party.”
