65-year-old woman found murdered

Srinivas, her son, and his wife Vimala allegedly assaulted Daggubai that resulted in her death.

A 65-year-old woman was murdered allegedly by her son and his wife in Yedapadavu in Bajpe police station limits here on Wednesday.

According to the police, the victim has been identified as Daggubai. Daggubai was staying with her son — Srinivas and daughter-in-law Vimala.

Srinivas often quarrelled with his mother.

On Wednesday, Srinivas, who was reportedly in an inebriated state, quarrelled with his mother.

Srinivas and his wife Vimala allegedly assaulted Daggubai that resulted in her death.

Vimala arrested

On the complaint of Sadananda Gowda, Daggubai’s other son, the police arrested Vimala and have launched a search for Srinivas.
