Quest to find out the real Fredrick begins today

Debutant director Rajesh V Butalia's 'Fredrick', which features Prashant Narayanan, Anant Jog, Rajesh Khera and newcomers Avinash Dhyani and Tulna Butalia, explores how truth is fickle. The emotional suspense thriller, which had a grand premier at Hong Kong and Belgium, revolves around a 16-year-old boy whose childhood gets scarred due to his violent father. Nineteen years later, the story moves to the picturesque hills of Mussoorie, where a dark, unknown shadow has cast the web of human trafficking.Nobody knows him or has seen him. They only know the name ' 'Fredrick'. After several turns and twists, the mystery is unravelled.

Rajesh says, 'The film attempts to bring forth many untouched social issues . A blend of interesting characters and unusual thought process makes it unique. The music by Sunjoy Bose plays a vital role in providing breathing space to this otherwise pacy story.'
Quiz Manish Kalaria, who hails from a business background, what prompted him to back this film and he replies, 'I was bowled over by Rajesh's script and decided to support his vision in translating this into reality. Within our circle of friends it was given that what nobody could do, Rajesh could definitely crack it and he has proved that yet again.'

Tulna, who plays the female lead, is buoyed by the response to the film's trailer and soundtrack and says, 'I was terrified in the presence of actors like Prashant, Rajesh and Anant. But they made me feel comfortable and thereafter, it was a smooth sail.'
